Graham charity golf tournament benefits Habitat for Humanity

The Graham Companies’ Construction Department held its first “Swing for Charity” golf tournament on May 23 at Shula’s Golf Club. With over 103 golfers, the tournament raised over $40,000. Which will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami, the selected charity for this year’s event.
The Florida Lemark + Sunbelt Rental team won the tournament and the prized trophy which will be passed down to the following year’s winner, much like the Stanley Cup Trophy. The winning team included Tom Gonzalez, Jacques Choke, Eddie Wheels and Rodney Rotten.
Second place went to L&R Structural and Paramount Consulting and Engineering came in third place.
Bryce Peterson won the Longest Drive competition, Guillermo Pasal won Closest to the Pin, and Jorden Becker won the Putting Contest which was held before the tournament began.
Top tournament sponsors included CB Constructors (Gold) along with Miller Construction, ANF and Downright Engineering. Power Design was the dinner sponsor and CB Structures was the lunch sponsor. Silver sponsors included NVS, Forbes Construction, Wayne Fire Sprinklers and Emerald Construction.
The tournament was made possible with the leadership of Steve Williams, vice president of Construction of The Graham Companies, as well as his entire construction department.
