Hialeah Gardens High Goddesses named Grand Dance Team champs

Hialeah Gardens Senior High Goddesses recently were crowed the 2019 Universal Dance Association (UDA)’S National and Grand Dance Team Champions after competing against the top teams in the country in Orlando.
The event, which took place at the Walt Disney World Resort, is administered by UDA, a division of Varsity Spirit.
The National Dance and Team Championships is the only national live dance team championship that is endorsed by the National Federation of State High School Associations, the national service and administrative organization for high school athletics and fine arts programs in speech, debate, theater, dance and music.
The Goddesses demonstrated their talents during the event, which inspires leadership among dance teams, and focuses on the traditional role of dance teams.
Hialeah Gardens qualified for the event by performing to support athletic programs and to provide entertainment to the crowd before and during games.
The dance team was also recognized for playing an instrumental role in raising, leading and maintaining school spirit in and around their communities.
