Is learning golf, or playing more golf a 2015 resolution?

Some people wish they had learned a sport as a child. Others wish to relax, or exercise. Whatever the reason, the first few weeks of the new year are an inspiring time for all to set resolutions they wish to complete or begin.

Golf is a great sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. It is a great way to spend time with friends, family and clients while out in the wonderful South Florida weather all year round. It is never too early or too late to begin learning the game.

The best way to learn how to golf is with a friend.  Starting a new sport can be frightening for some, however, when starting with a friend, the learning process can be fun especially when both are achieving certain milestones in the sport.  Most people tend to stick with golf when they learn with a friend because they ensure they have a golf buddy.

Establishing New Year’s resolutions has been a popular activity for many years.  It is a great time for people to hit the reset button or re-focus on certain tasks.  Many people who play golf form their resolutions around the sport.

Some of the more popular resolutions for golfers include: Lowering one’s handicap, breaking 100/90/80 for the first time, making a par on the 13th hole at Shula’s, or simply just playing more golf.  Whatever your resolution is for 2015, we hope it includes playing more golf at Shula’s Golf Club.
