Mater Academy football players participate in Tru Sports All-Star game

Mater Academy players participated in the 8th annual Tru Sports Foundation Public versus Private All-Star football game at McArthur High School, where the public school players defeated the private school players, 27-23. The All-Star game gives seniors an opportunity to showcase their talent among their peers, and obtain one last look by coaches and recruiters, representing colleges and universities across the county. Despite the loss, Mater Academy linebacker Nez Decosta (No. 7) was named Defensive MVP of the game.
