Mater Academy’s cross country teams competed in the Spanish River Invitational in Boca Raton, where Valeries Lastra, in her first race since she suffered a foot injury in the spring, finished in first place, while Jinah Mickens-Malik placed third. Maryury Rodriguez came in 8th place, as the Lions team placed third overall in the competition.
