The back-to-back NJCAA National Champion Lady Sharks Volleyball team, lead by head coack Kiko Benoit, has started the 2018 season with a bang.
The Lady Sharks are 10-0, 1-0 in conference. They are ranked No. 1 in the FCSAA State Coaches Poll and No. 1 in the NJCAA Poll. The team is lead by a talented and diverse group. The Lady Sharks represent eight different countries on their roster.
Sophomore setter Tiziana Baumrukova, from the Czech Republic who averages over 11 assists per set. Valeria Santos from Puerto Rico is a member of the 25 plus dig club twice this season (vs. Hillsborough, vs. Daytona State) and averages over 4 digs per set.
Sophomore OH/RS Valeria Alegrias from Colombia averages 2.94 kills per set, 2.29 digs per set, and sophomore Fiorella Murillo averages 2.67 kills per set and 3.10 digs per set.
