The Miami Lakes Heat fast pitch softball team recently competed at Fletcher Park for a USSA Tournament. The girls went 2-1 to put them into a single elimination match against power house teams Plantataion Pressure and Sunrise Thunder. They defeated Pressure 4-1 and Thunder 9-1. The girls went into the finals versus Cooper City Cobras, losing 2-1.
