The Miami Lakes United Soccer Club U16 girls’ team was crowned champions at the 22nd annual West Pines Kickoff Classic Tournament. The event also raised awareness during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The West Pines Kickoff Classic is sanctioned by the Florida Youth Soccer Association and is open to all U.S. soccer club members. The tournament has become one of the most competitive tournaments by bringing together a great variety of teams from Region III and abroad. The Miami Lakes team competed against the best teams in their division enroute to the championship.
