The Miami Lakes Optimist Club recently concluded its Spring 2017 Flag Football season. Over 260 children participated in the league this season, receiving trophies at the league's closing ceremony event on May 20 at Royal Oaks Park.
Congratulations to the age 5-7 division Champion Giants, 8-9 division Champion Packers, 10-11 division Champion Dolphins, and 12-13 division Champion Browns.

The Optimist Club’s program is a youth flag football league for kids ages 5-13 with games on Saturday mornings at Royal Oaks Park. Practices are once or twice a week at night. At the conclusion of games every week, pictures are posted on the league's Facebook page at Facebook.com/MIAFlagFootball.
