Pace baseball coach, ace pitcher, honored at athletic awards

Monsignor Edward Pace High baseball coach Tom Duffin was named 6A-2A  Baseball Coach of the Year last week at the  2016 Miami Herald’s All-Dade Athletic Awards ceremony at Jungle Island. In addition, Duffin’s ace pitcher Chris Rodriguez was named 6A-2A Pitcher of the Year, who was also named to The Miami-Herald All-Dade First Team after recording an 8-2 record, 85 strikeouts and an ERA of 0.33 this past season. He is pictured with teammate pitcher Manny Rodriguez who also was named to the All-Dade First Team with an 4-0 record, 31 strikeouts and a 1.02 ERA.
