Pace basketball star Armand Del Castillo signs letter of intent

Armand Del Castillo, a Monsignor Edward Pace High School senior and Miami Lakes resident, continued a great tradition at Pace by signing his Letter of Intent to play basketball for Washington College on May 11.
The signing ceremony was held inside the Spartan Center in front of the Pace student body, Del Castillo’s coaches, teammates, and family. Del Castillo is the son of Albert Del Castillo, a Class of 1975 Pace alumnus.
Armand Del Castillo maintained a 4.3 GPA and was the team captain of the Pace Spartans basketball team during his junior and senior years. He led the team in scoring last season with an average of 18 points per game. He scored 998 points in his three years on the Pace basketball team, including 170 3-pointers.
