Pace football team on a mission to win District title

Monsignor Edward Pace has set the stage for a big district game following a blowout victory last week against Keys Gate, 49-0.

The Spartans (6-2, 2-1) face Belen Jesuit (5-2, 4-0) in a key district match on Friday, November 3.

Mater Academy blew out Westland Hialeah, 40-6, as the Lions’ defense kept the Wildcats (0-9) winless on the regular season. 

The Lions (5-4, 5-3) face off against Norland (5-3, 2-2) on Friday November 3.
Norland is coming off a big victory last week against powerhouse Northwestern.

Hialeah Miami Lakes picked up its first win of the regular season, defeating Miami Beach, 20-18, as the Trojans players celebrated on the field as if they won the  district championship.
Hialeah Miami Lakes scored 12 points in the fourth quarter to seal the victory, and its defense stopped Miami Beach (1-7) on its final two possessions of the game.

The Trojans face district foe and neighborhood rival Hialeah (3-5, 2-3) on Saturday, November 4, when both teams battle for the annual T-Trophy.

Krop scored six points in the fourth quarter to take the lead and sealed the victory against American, 12-8.

American took a two point lead at the half but failed to score in the final two quarters.
The Patriots (2-6-1, 1-4) face defending state champion Carol City (5-2, 2-1) on Thursday, November 3.
