The Senator Course at Shula’s Golf Club, located at 7601 Miami Lakes Drive, has provided many groups and individuals with a unique course over the years.
On February 11, a longtime member of the Herb Smith Golf Group, Bruce Taylor recorded his first hole-in-one. The Ace took place on the fifth hole, a Par 3, 105 yards in length. It was his first hole in-one in his golfing career that spans over five decades. Taylor used his pitching wedge and was witnessed by his playing partners.
Shula’s Golf Club also welcomed two long time groups in the month of February that have been coming to the course for over 40 years.
The Schiavone group arrived on February 26 from Youngstown, Ohio. This is their 42 consecutive year, dating back to 1977.
The Fraser group hailing from Butler, Pennsylvania, arrived on February 27. This is their 49 consecutive year.
Each year, everyone on the staff at Shula’s Golf Club looks forward to their friends from the North who enjoy good golf, good food and good fun.
