The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Top-25 Preseason Coaches’ Poll ranked St.
Thomas University’s baseball team No. 2 for the coming season.
It’s the second time in school history the Bobcats will start in that spot; the last time was in 2016.
The Bobcats’ ranking comes six months after losing to No. 1 Tennessee
Wesleyan University in the conference’s national championship game.
The Bobcats finished 49-15 and are returning five starters in the new season that begins Jan. 28, when they’ll play Florida
Memorial University.
