St. Thomas University’s men’s soccer team is ranked third in the preseason Sun Conference Coaches’ Poll.
The Bobcats squad tops the 2016 Sun Conference men’s soccer preseason poll for the second straight years as announced by the league office three weeks ago.
The Night Hawks earned five first place and three second place votes to come in two points ahead of reigning Sun Conference Champions Southeastern.
The Fire earned four first place votes, and return the Sun Conference Freshmen of the Year in goalkeeper Jorge Navarrete and Sun Conference Player of the Year Pedro Ivo Dias.
St. Thomas finished third while Keiser followed behind in fourth. SCAD collected the final first place vote for fifth place, while Johnson and Wales was sixth, and Florida Memorial is seventh.
Webber International was picked eighth, Warner was ninth and Ave Maria rounded out the poll.
