The Miami Lakes Optimist Club will be holding registration for the 2015 Fall baseball and softball season from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on consecutive Saturdays, August 8, 15 and 22, at Miami Lakes Middle School, 6425 Miami Lakeway North.
The Optimist Club welcomes returning and new players to play in an exciting season. New players must bring a copy of their birth certificates to the registration, which costs $145 per person. Only cash and checks are accepted.
The Optimist Club is asking for more volunteers and coaches to participate in the baseball and softball season. Sponsors are also welcome.
