Dean’s List honors

Arianna Cruz of Hialeah (shown above) was named to the dean’s list at Emerson College in Boston for the fall 2019 semester.
Cruz, class of 2021, is a graduate of Hialeah Gardens High School.
She is majoring in political communication.
To land a spot on the dean’s list, a student must have a grade point average of 3.7 or higher, the college said.
Also recognized was Marirosa Crawford of Miami Lakes, a dance major at
Purchase College in New York.
The college named
Crawford to the dean’s list for the 2019 fall semester.
Purchase College requires a GPA of 3.5 for undergraduate arts and science programs and 3.75 for fine arts and music performance programs.
Cecilia Tome of Miami Lakes also qualified for the dean’s list last fall, at Belmont
University in Nashville, Tenn.
To be eligible students must have a minimum 12 hour course load and a quality grade point average of 3.5, with no grade below a C, the university said.
