Lawton Chiles Middle School named 2022 School of Excellence

      Magnet Schools of America named Lawton Chiles Middle School a 2022 School of Excellence for its Cambridge International Program. 

     The award is given to the top magnet schools in the nation, lead Magnet teacher Lilian Gonzalez said.

     Since 2016, the organization has recognized Lawton Chiles Middle School, at 8190 NW 197th St. in Miami, as one of the leading magnet schools for its commitment to high academic standards, innovations to curriculum, diversity efforts and providing quality services to students, she said.
