Mater Lakes Academy graduates 22 students with AA degrees

On May 4, Mater Lakes Academy (MLA) had 22 seniors graduate from Miami Dade College (MDC). They graduated with their Associate of Arts Degree as a senior in high school. They also wore a gold cord that signified they graduated at the highest honors from MDC. These seniors got to wear these black cap and gowns and cords again at their high school graduation on June 4.
MDC highlighted some of their most outstanding graduates MLA is proud to say that representing the MDC North Campus is one of their seniors, Mercedes Ferreira-Dias. Ferreira-Dias will be graduating high school with an associates degree in psychology.
She will be attending the Harvard/Berklee Dual Degree program with Harvard University’s Department of Music. MLA would like to wish all of their graduates the best of luck in their future endeavors.
