Ciara Diaz takes next step in pageant career

     Ciara Diaz will compete for the Miss Florida Teen title in Lakeland in June.

     Ciara, 17, is shown at left after winning the Miss Miami Teen 2025 title in February. The competition is a part of the Miss America organization, pageant director Damaris Aguiar said.

     Ciara is a junior at New World School of the Arts, where she is studying dance. She dances competitively and has studied at Intensity Dancers Studio in Miami Lakes for 14 years, as well as in the pre-professional program at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York, her mother Yenny Diaz said.

     Ciara lives in the Country Club community with her mother, father Edward Diaz and brother Liam Diaz.
