Pollo Tropical offers breakfast menu at Miami Lakes drive-thru

This month, Pollo Tropical in Miami Lakes tested new breakfast items for drive-thru customers.
The dishes were so popular, the Windmill Gate shopping center location of the chicken fast food chain will continue offering them.
Drivers can order mini ham croquettes; mini beef empanadas; a crispy chicken and Belgian waffle sandwich with syrup and breakfast bowls and wraps made with scrambled eggs, potatoes, cheese, veggies and bacon, chorizo or chicken sausage.
Local favorite Cuban toast is pressed and buttered. A wide selection of coffees is available, too: Espresso; double Espresso; Colada (high test caffeine sipped from mini cups); Cortadito (coffee and milk) and Café con Leche (more milk than coffee).
