Miami-Dade County Public Works and Waste Management Department is making free mulch available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. The mulch is made from recycled Christmas trees and is a fragrant reminder of the holiday season.

Residents must bring their own bags or containers to receive the mulch which is available for northwest Miami-Dade unincorporated area residents and those who live in Miami Lakes and Miami Gardens.

Mulch is available from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the North Dade Landfill, 21500 N.W. 47 Avenue. For more information, visit www.miamidade.gov/publicworks.
