Maria Mendez and her brother Pablo Mendez are the owners of the newest clothing boutique on Main Street, Rush. The store held its grand opening on May 31 at 6709 Main Street, and the opening was a double victory for the owners as it wasn’t only a grand opening of the store but the first location in the United States.
The Mendez’s originally hail from Venezuela where they own four Rush boutiques having started their family business 16 years ago. For their expansion to the United States, Maria noted that she scouted areas that would fit the demographics of her store and found herself in Miami Lakes because of the youthfulness and family-friendly environment.
Rush boutique offers women’s clothing and accessories such as jewelry, bags, and shoes. The spacious store features a number of popular styles at affordable prices.
