Main Street Players present Five Women Wearing the Same Dress

Main Street Players (MSP) presents Five Women Wearing The Same Dress, the next show being produced at the Main Street Playhouse. The comedy was written by Alan Ball, who is best known for writing the film “American Beauty,” as well as being the creator, writer and executive producer of HBO drama series “Six Feet Under’”and “True Blood.”

During an ostentatious wedding reception, five reluctant, identically clad bridesmaids hide out in an upstairs bedroom, each with her own reason to avoid the proceedings below. As the afternoon wears on, these five very different women joyously discover a common bond in this wickedly funny, irreverent and touching celebration of the women’s spirit.

The show is directed by Tatyana-Marie Carlo with production manager, Patty Fernandez. The cast includes Amanda-Lynn Williams as Trisha, Thiana Berrick as Georgeanne, Icela Marliese as Frances, Rei Capote as Mindy, Lorena Estevez as Meredith and Kevin Rubi as Tripp.
