37 Postcards now playing at Main Street Playhouse

The Main Street Players debuted its second show of the season, 37 Postcards, on April 26 to enthusiastic audiences at the Main Street Playhouse, 6766 Main Street. Part of the crowd was the play writer himself, Michael McKeever.
37 Postcards is not just a funny show about a family that seems to be losing their minds during the past eight years. The show reveals so much more than meets the eye. Upon Avery’s return home, nothing is as he remembers. Although he is certain his family is crazy, he soon realizes why they’re acting the way they are.
Through several turns of events and some realization the craziness of Avery’s family actually seems to be normal. All families have their “normal” even if it doesn’t appear that way to others as Avery’s fiancé soon realizes. Sometimes you just need to go home and everything will work itself out.
The cast of 37 Postcards seemed like a real family on and off stage. Their chemistry translated well through their performance on stage.
“37 Postcards” runs through May 19, with shows on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
Tickets are $30 for adults and $25 for students, seniors and military personnel. Theatre League and Industry tickets are $20 with I.D. at the door. Tickets may be purchased in advance at www.mainstreetplayers.com, or at the door an hour before show time.
