Voting is now open for the annual Best of Miami Lakes Awards.
In its 10th year, the awards allow residents to nominate outstanding local businesses. They are hosted by the Town of Miami Lakes and its Economic Development Committee.
Nominations opened in late July and will close on Aug. 31. Finalists will be announced at the 2026 Small Business Bootcamp on September 25. The final round of voting will be from September 25 to October 2; winners will be announced on October 5.
This year, the town is encouraging businesses to focus their campaign efforts on having customers vote for their business in a single category.
Award categories include:
Best breakfast spot, best happy hour, best cup of coffee, best financial, best legal, best real estate, best other professional services, best lunch spot, best dinner, best retail, best beauty, best health provider and best fitness.
