Chamber of Commerce welcomes speaker

The Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce welcomed guest speaker Patrick Eloi to its July 21 luncheon.

Eloi, chief executive officer of Complete Care IT who has invested in retail businesses, real estate and other ventures, spoke during gathering held at Trattoria Pampered Chef Restaurant.

He discussed the power of networking and using it to grow a business.

On July 13, Chamber leaders visited town hall where Mayor Manny Cid declared it was “Marta Diaz Day.”

Diaz died earlier this year.

She was a member of the chamber for 13 years and was its executive director.

Diaz was remembered for her dedication to the community and her contributions to the business group.

The chamber will not hold a luncheon in August; meetings will resume Sept. 8 in a location to be announced on the group’s social media accounts.
