Miami Lakes Town Council members joined officials from Chrysler Dodge Jeep for a recent ground breaking ceremony for the new dealership building at Miami Lakes Auto Mall. The expansion is part of Miami Lakes’ efforts to help town businesses expand and lure new businesses to the city to stabilize the local economy. The 44,000+ square-foot building includes an area for auto parts, display and service shop. Included in the project is construction of a 17-foot-wide landscaped median and addition of bicycle lanes on the adjacent segment of N.W. 59 Avenue. A staple in the community, Miami Lakes Auto Mall employs over 250 people.
