Professional comedy is coming to Miami Lakes at the Main Street Playhouse, 6766 Main Street. With one of the world’s largest libraries of non-stop, rapid fire, hilarious jokes, Rich Purpura has been leaving crowds in tears for years.
Voted Disney Cruise Lines Favorite Comedian seven years in a row for his kids magic show, Purpura is ready to expand his one-man show “The Joke Jukebox” right here in Miami Lakes. Non-stop jokes, one funnier than the next, will be ending with audience members providing topics for Purpura to instantaneously come up with a joke about. A prize will be given for stumping “The Joke Jukebox.”
Shows will be held on Saturday, October 27 and Saturday, November 17. The kids magic show will be held at 2 p.m., and tickets will be $10. Adult comedy shows (18 years or older) will run at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tickets will be $25, including $5 towards concessions.
