Ocean Bank announced it provided $28 million to The Graham Companies to refinance debt on seven office buildings in Miami Lakes.
“Ocean Bank has been an exceptional partner throughout this process,” Andre Teixeira, executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Graham Companies said in a May 4 press release. “Their leadership and lending team were responsive, professional and a pleasure to work with at every turn.”
Ocean Bank has also been a tenant of the developer since 1997, with a branch at 7455 Miami Lakes Drive.
“This financing deepens a relationship we have enjoyed for nearly three decades,” Teixeira said. “We look forward to continuing to build the relationship further.”
Rogelio Villarreal, the bank’s executive vice president and head of commercial lending, said in the release, “Ocean Bank is extremely proud to add The Graham Companies as a customer of the bank and to provide financing for these properties.”
The refinanced buildings include:
--Parkside Corporate Center, with 157,749 square feet in four buildings on 9.6 acres, at Northwest 79th Court and Northwest 151st Street;
--Two four-story buildings on the Governors Square Campus -- The Andrew Jackson Building, with 53,210 square feet at 8100 Governors Square Boulevard, and the Spessard Holland Building, with 53,115 square feet, at 8000 Governors Square Boulevard;
--The KinderCare Enrichment Center, a single-story, 13,580-square-foot preschool at 8001 Oak Lane.

Senior Vice President Jesus Garcia arranged the loan for Ocean Bank.
Ocean Bank said it is the largest independent, state-chartered commercial bank headquartered in Florida, with $7.44 billion in assets.
