Painting With A Twist, located at 15100 N.W. 67 Avenue, Suite 111, in Miami Lakes, is continuing its monthly “Painting With A Purpose” charity event series. For April, Painting With A Twist has partnered with Sunshine’s Heart Mentoring Program, a local nonprofit established in 2013 whose mission is to help teens build self-esteem through mentor relationships.
Fifty percent of the proceeds from the painting session scheduled for April 23 at 7 p.m. will go toward Sunshine’s Heart Mentoring Program.
This event is first come, first served. To reserve seats visit www.paintingwithatwist.com/miami-lakes/calendar/ and purchase seats for the April 23 event titled “Painting With A Purpose: Sunshine’s Heart Inc.” The art piece for the session reads “Love Anchors The Soul.” The artists at Painting With A Twist will teach participants how to turn this message into a work of art to take home or give to a loved one.
“This is the second fundraising event we’ve held since we first opened back in January,” said Painting With A Twist co-owner Yaime Riveiro. “We are very happy to be able to give back to the community.”
