Ice Cream Social is back and it’s sweeter than ever! Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force announced the 2nd Annual Ice Cream Social to celebrate National Ice Cream Month to be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
Thanks to the efforts of Miami Lakes resident and previous Mayor for a Day, Ellica Quintero, this has now become a Miami Lakes summer tradition. This year’s creamy event is sponsored by Miami Lakes AutoMall, Family Dentistry and Orthodontics, and Karate America.
The event includes a rock climbing wall, inflatable slide, photo booth, music and more. Ice cream vendors include Ice Cream Distributors of Florida and Blue Bunny.
