Winn-Dixie officially reopened its recently remodeled store in Miami Lakes. The company remodeled the store in response to customers who asked for an improved shopping experience. As part of the grand opening ceremony and to officially reintroduce the community to the new and improved store, a ribbon cutting took place at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 22 at the store located at 15450 N.W. 77 Court in the Royal Oaks Plaza in Miami Lakes.
“Winn-Dixie is deeply rooted in Miami Lakes, and has established a history of commitment and service going back 30 years in this community,” said president and CEO of Southeastern Grocers, Anthony Hucker. “We’re excited to give our loyal customers a store they can count on.”
Enhancements in the new store include new signage and a fresh, contemporary color palate with modern store signage inside. Additionally, the store upgraded the bakery department with new selections and displays. The store also expanded the natural and organic selection with more than 1,500 new products across the store. Customers will also notice the enhanced café with seating area serving coffee, pastries and sandwiches.
In addition to celebrating the newly remodeled store, Winn-Dixie donated $2,000 to the neighboring school, Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High School. The first 500 customers that arrived at 8 a.m. also received a free mystery gift card valued between $5 and $500.
The new and improved Miami Lakes Winn-Dixie is open all week long from 7 a.m. until midnight. For more information, visit www.windixie.com or www.segrocers.com.
