Kid’s Choice Learning Center held a ribbon cutting on July 25 to celebrate the opening of the new school.
The new daycare and voluntary pre-Kindergarten center is in a renovated building at 6152 NW 153rd St. It offers services for kids who are 12 months to four years old.
Kid’s Choice is run by the Leal family of Miami Lakes. Friends and neighbors joined them at the launch.
“Thank you, guys, for choosing to invest in the town,” Councilman Josh Dieguez said. “It always warms my heart to see Miami Lakers investing in our town.”
Also in attendance were Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce President Fred Senra, Economic Development Committee Chair Matthew Casamayor and Miami-Dade County Public Schools District 4 School Board Member Roberto Alonso.
Alonso praised the family for having a center that prepares children to enter the K – 12 school system.
