The Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce and the Miami Lakes Economic Development Committee celebrated the opening of Vellu Laser, 15131 NW 67 Ave., on Aug. 22.
Vellu Laser is started by Miami Lakers Roxana Miranda, with Joselyn Sarduy and Jaylin Vazquez.
“I’m so thankful for everyone here,” Miranda said.
The new business offers laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation.
During the event, confetti was tossed and champagne corks were popped for a toast.
“It is a real pleasure and honor to be here tonight,” Miami Lakes Chamber President Fred Senra said. “These young ladies have invested their hard-earned money in our town.”
