St. Thomas University president David A. Armstrong announced construction will begin in January on the Gus Machado Business School Complex.
“By the Fall of 2020, we’ll be prepared to offer our new and returning business students enhanced degree programs in technologically-equipped facilities with modern 21st century functionality,” Armstrong said.
Included in the complex will be the Gus Machado School of Business Academic Building, the Business School Administration Building, and the Center for Career Development.
The complex will boast an open-air design flow with a trading floor, global conference auditorium, video telecast room and a sky bridge.
Renowned architectural firm Bermello Ajamil & Partners created the award-winning complex design. Legendary Ford dealership owner Gus Machado and his wife Lilliam generously donated the naming gift to the Business School to support the future career success of young people in South Florida.
