A partnership of charities and the Town of Miami Lakes will stage a third major hunger relief effort on Saturday at Miami Lakes United Methodist Church.The event begins at 9 a.m. at the church, which is at Miami Lakes Drive and 14800 NW 67 Ave.Drivers should enter the church parking lot on Miami Lakes Drive, stay inside their cars and when it is their turn in line, pop their trunks.Volunteers will place the groceries inside.The sponsors are...

Therapists offer free counseling

Mental health therapists are offering free counseling to people who may be affected by the stresses of the coronavirus pandemic. Miami Lakes officials announced the support program during a Facebook video on April 16.
