     More than 3,500 people attended Miami Lakes Spring Fling and Easter Egg Hunt on April 19 at Veterans Park. Kids of all ages and sizes ran to get some of the 30,000 eggs filled with Smarties candy and fruit rolls.       Presented by the town’s Youth Activities Task Force, 44 volunteers helped run the event.
