The Town of Miami Lakes will begin webcasting Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Board meetings.   On November 7, Miami Lakes resident, retired Air Force Senior Airman and Coral Gables Firefighter, Carlos Martinez was honored by Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart. Martinez received a Congressional Commendation for his military service while serving as an Air Force Firefighter in Iraq.  Along with Martinez, three other servicemen were honored.   On October 25, children from Touching Miami with Love had a morning filled with Trick or Treating at The Graham Companies, Shula’s Hotel, Graham Residential, Graham Commercial, Costa Realty and Shula’s Athletic Club. The morning was topped off with the kids experiencing a haunted house put on by Costa Realty, and a lunch served on the basketball court at the Athletic Club.
