The bustling Park Centre Shops is on Miami Lakes Drive, on the west side of town near the entrance to Miami Lakes Business Park West.
The Graham Companies built the 74,333 square foot shopping center at 8040 N.W. 154th St.
in 1988. This year it was painted and a new roof was installed.
The tenants are a mix of restaurants, retailers and services businesses from well-established local and national brands.
On a recent Friday afternoon, the shopping center was busy with people picking up lunch or running errands.
Brandon Blomquist works in Miami Lakes and said he is a regular at the shopping center.
That day he was enjoying a dish from Oregano Greek Kitchen.
“I love to come here for lunch,” he said.
Andrew Padron lives in Broward County and also works in town. Smoothie King is his spot.
“The smoothies help keep me in shape,” he said. “I exercise a lot and eat a lot of nutrition.”
Park Centre Shops serve employees in the businesses that line Miami Lakes Drive as well as residents from the Lake Glenn-Ellen; Royal Palm Estates; Gramercy Park and Royal Oaks neighborhoods.
Popular Bank, which is building a new South Florida headquarters, is close by.
