Pace High School welcomed 40 career professionals, including alumni, including recently elected Miami Lakes Mayor Manny Cid (Class of 2002), to present to its student body at its annual Career Day on February 3.  Students listened to and spoke with professionals from careers ranging as wide as attorneys and FBI agents to dog care experts and fitness specialists. On Saturday, April 1 Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Alberto Carvalho, and the Foundation for New Education Initiatives (FNEI) are teaming up to host the second 5K Challenge to benefit Miami-Dade public schools.
