400 middle school students compete at Pace's 2014 Academic Olympics

  Around 400 students from 11 middle schools across South Florida competed in Monsignor Edward Pace High School’s 2014 Spartan Academic Olympics in early December. Miami-Dade School Board chair Perla Tabares Hantman was honored on November 15 at the 2014 Ray of Hope Gala to benefit South Florida Autism Charter Schools. Hantman was recognized for her outstanding contributions to education and the safety and well-being of the children of South Florida. South Florida Autism Charter Schools, Inc. provides education and services to students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
