BGEC Robocats win awards

    Students in the Bob Graham Education Center’s Robocats STEM Academy won the Innovate Award during the Nov. 5 VEX IQ qualifier contest held at Rockway Middle School in Miami. The BGEC team that had one of the top engineering notebooks received that award. Robocats also placed 4th in the skills competition and 5th in the team finals.      Mater Lakes Academy’s boys cross country team placed fourth out of 32 teams in the 2022 FHSAA State Class 2A championships. The meet was held Nov. 5 at Florida State University.
