Parents of students who attend Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School and parishioners from Our Lady of the Lakes Church in Miami Lakes donated food to fill 800 bags for their Thanksgiving food drive. School board elects Tabares Hantman chair for 13th term

The Miami-Dade County School Board elected Perla Tabares Hantman chair for the 2020-2021 school year, the 13th time she has been chosen to lead the educators. Educators and volunteers partnered with Monsignor Edward Pace High School to encourage STEM education for girls who attend St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic School in Southwest Ranches. A Miami Laker is a member of the Florida State University College of Law team which won 1st place in the 2020 Buffalo-Niagara Mock Trial Competition, FSU said on its website.
