Miami Lakes Bar Association holds annual installation ceremony

The Miami Lakes Bar Association (MLBA) hosted its 2019 Installation Celebration on January 11 at Shula’s Steakhouse. Over 100 attorneys, judges and professionals attended the festive event which was sponsored by several local law firms and businesses.
Miami Lakes resident and Miami-Dade County Judge Eleane Sosa-Bruzon administered the oath of office to the new 2019 MLBA Board which will be led by president Janelys “Jany” Holland. She succeeds immediate past president Adry Polo.
During her term as president, Holland intends to pursue the MLBA’s goals of providing continuing education opportunities for local attorneys, expand MLBA’s membership and host more networking events for not only members of the Bar, but for the local community as well.
Other members of the 2019 Board include president-elect Melissa Caballero Alton, vice president Ashley Arias, treasurer Joshua Hertz, secretary Trinette Zaran, and directors Vanessa Abreu, Mirelis Castilla, Lorenzo Cobiella, Joshua “Josh” Dieguez, Gloria M. Garcia, Philip Ortiz and Haydee Sera.
