The community is invited to a public meeting to be held by Miami-Dade County Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz on June 10 at the Country Club of Miami.

The forum is an opportunity for residents to meet with her, share concerns, ask questions and get updates on public safety in the area.

The meeting will be held at 6801 NW 186th St., from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

The agency is asking those who wish to attend to register at https://form.jotform.com/SharewithRosie/sharewithsheriffrosie.

Cordero-Stutz is just five months into the job; when she was elected in November she became the first Hispanic woman elected sheriff in Florida's history and the first woman elected sheriff in county history, according to her official biography. You can read more about her here: rb.gy/fxwl6n
