Eight residents have filed paperwork to fill Seat 4 on the Miami Lakes town council. The seat formerly held by Josh Dieguez became vacant when he was elected mayor on Nov. 26. Miami Lakes Town Clerk and Supervisor of Elections Gina Inguanzo will begin accepting applications for vacant Council Seat 4 on Dec. 16. Prospective applicants will have to file forms with her by Dec. 20 to be considered for the position.
