Neighborhood Improvement Committee’s Mardi Gras bike ride

     The Neighborhood Improvement Committee held one of its community bicycle rides around town.      The theme on Feb. 10 was Mardi Gras. Council gives key to the town to the Seferlis family

     Miami Lakes Mayor Manny Cid presented a key to the town to Sabrina Seferlis on Feb. 13. She owned Gerardo’s Marketplace on Bull Run Road in Miami Lakes with her late husband Gerardo Seferlis. Sabrina and the couple’s daughter Gabriella kept the business going after Gerardo’s death in 2022 but closed it in December after 25 years in the community.
