The Town of Miami Lakes and children’s learning group Snapology are offering two new STEAM programs for kids this fall. For eight weeks, kids ages 4 to 8 can learn engineering, robotics and beginner-friendly coding at the STEAM adventures program. Free trees on offer as county aims for Miami Lakes’ greenery level

Miami Lakers will soon get a chance to pick up free trees near the town thanks to an initiative from Miami-Dade County and TD Bank. The county recently received a $150,000 grant from the county to support its Urban Forestry Plan and Million Trees Miami initiative.
