Mater Lakes Academy girl’s volleyball team fell to Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna, 3-0, in a 5A regional quarterfinal game last week. Chaminade-Madonna (18-8) faced Pine Crest (16-1, 5-0) on November 1 in a regional semifinal match-up. Mater Lakes Academy won the District 15-5A championship by defeating Monsignor Edward Pace in straight sets, the first district title for the Lady Bears and their first undefeated season in district play.
